      Of Wallingford

      Patricia J. Chapman Beichner of Deer Run Road, Wallingford, died Tuesday at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was 68.

      She was born in Caribou, Maine, and had been a Wallingford resident for more than 40 years. She had been employed by the Wallingford Board of Education in the cafeteria at Lyman Hall High School for many years until her retirement, and she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Yalesville.

      She is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Konopka of Meriden; two sons, Edward J. Beichner Jr. and David M. Beichner, both of Wallingford; four sisters, Mona Belanger, Mavis Byram and Captola Mushrall, all of Maine, and Athora Donaldson of Hartford; four brothers, Richard Chapman, Donald Chapman and Murray Chapman, all of Maine, and Gerald Chapman of Florida; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Edward J. Beichner Sr.; a son, Robert A. Beichner; and a grandson died previously.

      Calling hours will be at the Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St., Yalesville section of Wallingford, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday at 9 a. m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Burial will be at In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford. Donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 382 Hope Hill Road, Wallingford, CT 06492.
